Edit: Im just going to clarify, you are not drilling a hole all the way through the cap. In order to breathe, your tank must have a vent somewhere that will relieve both vacuum and pressure. Havent had a problem with mine for a couple years since doing it. Itll vent, and if you drill at an angle wont spill. (b) If a single fuel tank is used on a multiengine rotorcraft, the following must be provided: (Edited) Drill a 1/16' hole through the inside of the cap.However, separate fuel tanks need not be provided for each engine. (a) Each fuel system for multiengine rotorcraft must allow fuel to be supplied to each engine through a system independent of those parts of each system supplying fuel to other engines.
